World AIDS Day 2026: An Evening of Remembrance, Hope & Community
Join New Bedford Community Health and our community partners on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Grace Episcopal Church in New Bedford as we come together to recognize World AIDS Day.
This special evening is an opportunity to honor and remember those we have lost to HIV/AIDS, celebrate the progress made in HIV prevention and care, and reaffirm our commitment to ending HIV-related stigma.
The evening will begin with community resource tables, music, and light refreshments from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Guests can connect with local organizations, learn about available health services, and access valuable community resources.
At 6:00 PM, we will gather for a remembrance service featuring Rev. Jeremy Froyen and voices from our community. Attendees will have the opportunity to share the names of loved ones and light a candle in their memory.
