All patients have the right to receive quality competent care regardless of their sex, age, race, religion, color, national origin, or sexual orientation or any other personal characteristics, including the ability to care for services. All patients have the right to voice concerns or complaints regarding the care they received, to have those complaints reviewed, and, when possible, resolved. The presentation of a complaint will not jeopardize patient care or compromise a patient’s future access to care here. New Bedford Community Health’s policy is to acknowledge patient complaints within ONE (1) business day of the complaint being filed. Complliants are resolved as soon as possible but no later than 30 calendar days.
