Greater New Bedford Community Health Center
The Greater New Bedford Community Health Center is pleased to welcome Amy Medeiros, Family Nurse Practitioner in the Women's Health Department. Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Syracuse University, New York. She earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing at MCPHS University, Worcester.
For the past 13 years, Amy worked at Habit Opco CRC Health Systems in Brockton / Taunton as a Regional Nurse Manager where she managed over 1,000 patients and 15 staff members. Prior to that she was a Maternal Child Health Nurse at the Kennedy Donovan Center in New Bedford. While finishing up her MSN-FNP graduate program, she was a School Nurse at the City on a Hill Charter School in New Bedford.
Amy enjoys living an active healthy life style. She has participated in the New Bedford Half Marathon, completed three triathlon's, and is an avid Bikram yogi.
