WIC-Nutrition & Support for Families - Located in New Bedford

WIC (Women Infants, and Children) is a free nutrition program that provides healthy food, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and healthcare to Massachusetts' families who qualify.

The goal of WIC is to ensure the health and well-being of pregnant and breastfeeding women and their children.

WIC Qualifications:

  • Massachusetts resident
  • You are a pregnant, postpartum, or breast-feeding woman, an infant or child under 5 years old
  • Have a nutritional need
  • Have a household income that is less than or equal to the income guidelines above

    You are automatically income eligible for WIC if you currently receive TAFDC, Food Stamps or Medicaid.

    Fathers, guardians, or foster parents may apply for WIC for their children at the WIC website, or by calling 508-997-1500 or 1-800-WIC-1007.
