Walk-In Appointments When You Need Immediate Attention

Urgent Care is available for patients 12 years and older. The Urgent Care Department located at 874 Purchase Street in New Bedford offers walk-in visits for non-emergency medical conditions that require immediate care.

Minor injuries or illnesses that can be treated in the Urgent Care Department include:
• Sprains and minor broken bones
• Minor cuts
• Earaches
• Sore throat or cough
• Mild to moderate asthma
• Urinary tract infections
• Other minor infections

If you have any of these symptoms, call 911 or
visit the nearest hospital emergency room:

  • Difficulty in breathing
  • Unconsciousness
  • Severe bleeding
  • Poisoning
  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Moderate to severe burns
  • Convulsions or seizures
  • Serious head, neck or back injury
  • Loss of limb or severe broken bone
