Wellness Connection of the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center is sponsoring a Heart Care Awareness Fair

NEW BEDFORD -- A Heart Care Fair is being hosted by the Wellness Connection of the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at its Wellness Connection, 874 Purchase Street. Staff members from the Health Center will be offering free Blood Pressure Checks, Cholesterol Screening, Pulse Check, and CO2 Check. Attendees will also receive information packets on Cardiac Arrest Warning Signs for men and women. The Health Center encourages members of the community to receive information on heart health issues and to take advantage of the free screenings. Translators will be available.

The Free Heart Care Fair will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Wellness Connection, 874 Purchase Street, New Bedford.
